Delhi 6 songs


Delhi-6 is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra that will star Abhishek Bachchan , Sonam Kapoor, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni, and Divya Dutta. Delhi-6 is based on Mehra's growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. The film will be Mehra's third directorial venture after the immensely successful Rang De Basanti, which had been selected as India's official entry to the Oscars and critically acclaimed Aks. A.R. Rahman is the music director of this film and Prasoon Joshi is the lyricist. Sonu Nigam and Sukhwinder Singh have sung songs in the film.

American - born Roshan (Abhishek Bachchan) brings his ailing grandmother back to India. Little does he know that the quick trip will turn into the longest journey of his life - a journey within. The backdrop of the story is the ancient walled city of Delhi, a character in herself. She represents the chaos, religion, beliefs and ethos of the Indian people. The pin code of the city is 110006, and with pride of love they call her Delhi-6. Amitabh Bachchan reportedly has a small role in the film where he is supposed to play the grandfather to Roshan, played by Abhishek Bachchan. Waheeda Rahman will play the grandmother of the same character. Rishi kapoor has been roped in to play Abhishek Bachchan's dad in the film.

Dev D songs


Dev.D is a romantic drama film released on February 6, 2009. Written and directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film is a modern day take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's classic Bengali novel Devdas. The film was conceived by Abhay Deol, and then worked upon by Kashyap and its producer is Ronnie Screwvala.

Dev (Abhay Deol) is the son of a rich Punjabi Businessman. He and Paro (Mahi Gill) are childhood sweethearts. Dev goes to London to study while Paro waits for him. After returning from London, Dev shuns Paro after he hears rumours of her alleged affairs with other men. Dev goes to Delhi while Paro is married off to a rich widower. In Delhi, Dev meets the prostitute Chanda (Kalki), who has been shunned by her family after an MMS scandal but despite an apparent emotional connection, remorse drives him to excesses.

The song "Emosanal Attyachaar" has become popular amongst the masses and the song's name has become a current catch phrase for most Indian youth.

Luck By Chance Songs


Luck By Chance ,which was released in January 2009,was directed by debutante Zoya Akhtar. The film stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Farhan Akhtar in lead roles with Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Juhi Chawla, Hrithik Roshan, Isha Sharvani and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles.

The film is about the journey of an actor named Vikram Jaisingh (Farhan Akhtar) who arrives in Bombay to make it big as a film star with the help of Abhimanyu (Arjun Mathur) a TV star friend, who puts him up during the initial struggle. Does he make it big? or does his struggle defeat him, and more importantly, does he pay his dues to the people who supported him when he was nobody, forms the basic crux of the story. In the film Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will also be seen in prominent roles and Rishi plays a Punjabi producer Romy Rolly .Konkana Sen Sharma will be doing the role of a junior artist named Sona Mishra, with Hrithik Roshan playing the role of a superstar. The story is about these actors of Bollywood.

Billu Barber songs



Billu Barber starring Irfan Khan and Lara Dutta in the lead roles, and Shahrukh Khan for the first time in a supporting role is scheduled to release on February 13, 2009. The film also features Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani in supporting roles with guest appearances by actresses Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra. The film has music by Pritam with lyrics from Gulzar. The film, which is a remake of the hugely successful Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol, has already been remade in Tamil as Kuselan starring Pasupathy and Rajinikanth but met a poor box office reception.
The story is set in today's day and age. Billu (Irfan Khan) plays a village barber. His business is running low because he has not been able to upgrade himself according to the changing trends. One fine day, a film unit visits his village to shoot a movie. It stars a superstar (Shahrukh Khan), who Billu claims to have been friends with. All at once, Billu's status in the village changes, and he becomes highly respected. Everyone wants him to meet the superstar through Billu. But Billu is unsure, as he feels he cannot compare to the superstar's status. Besides, he fears that the star may not recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the star but fails. After all these hardships, he gives up. The villages believe he lied about the relationship with the star and insult him. His family and children also gets upset and badmouth him. In a twist towards the end, the true extent of the friendship Billu and the superstar is revealed.

Ghajini songs


Ghajini is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film Ghajini to be directed by A. R. Murugadoss. The film is inspired by the critically acclaimed film Memento by Christopher Nolan, with the common theme of the protagonist suffering from anterograde amnesia or short term memory loss and seeking revenge for his wife's murder. Ghajini will feature Aamir Khan, Asin Thottumkal and Jiah Khan in lead roles. A. R. Rahman will be scoring the music for the film whilst Ravi K. Chandran and Anthony handle cinematography and editing of the film respectively.The movie is notable for Aamir Khan having shaven his head bald. A 3d game is reportedly being produced, the release of which will coincide with the audio release. The film is regarded as the most awaited Bollywood movie of 2008.

Raaz - The Mystery Continues songs

Raaz - The Mystery Continues, directed by Mohit Suri, is a 2009 horror movie starring Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut in the lead pairs taking over from Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea. However, it is not a sequel to the 2002 movie Raaz. The music is scored by Raju Singh, Pranay M Rijia, Toshi/Sharib & Gourov Dasgupta.

Raaz - The Mystery Continues deals with issues of the “evil within” the human psyche and how it manifests itself.The film is on same lines like the hollywood blockbuster The Omen but it is not a remake. It is based on the myths and superstitions that are still widely existent in the contemporary Indian society. The film attempts to challenge one’s beliefs about paranormal phenomena. It is about anticipation of fear and the fright residing within ones’ self. Emraan Hashmi plays a painter, named Prithvi, who has a extraordinary gift. The paintings tell Kangana Ranaut's future. Incidentally, Kangana plays a supermodel called Nandita in this film, right after Fashion. Adhyayan Suman plays a documentary film-maker named Yash, who dispells and debuks religious superstitions and paranormal beliefs.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi songs


Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi stars Shahrukh Khan and newcomer Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Directed by Aditya Chopra, who earlier directed hits like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) and Mohabbatein (2000), the film was released on December 12, 2008. The music is composed by Salim-Sulaiman who also composed for other Yash Raj Films such as Aaja Nachle, Chak De India, and Roadside Romeo. "Haule Haule", the promo song of the movie, has been greatly appreciated by both the listeners and the critcs.

Rock on songs

Excel Entertainment's Rock On !! was released on August 29, 2008. The film will mark the debut of director Farhan Akhtar as an actor.The cast also includes Arjun Rampal , Purab Kohli, Luke Kenny and television actress Prachi Desai.

The music has been scored by Shankar Ehsaan Loy,while the lyrics are being written by none other Javed Akhtar and the film is directed by Abhishek Kapoor ( His directorial debut was Sohail Khan starrer 'Aryan').

Rock On revolves around an unsuccessful rock band. Ten years later, the four members of the band bump into each other again, and set on a journey together.

Dostana (2008) songs


Dostana is slated to release on November 14, 2008. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles and directed by Karan Johar's assistant, Tarun Mansukhani. The music is composed by Vishal - Shekhar and Karan Johar missed his favourite trio composers Shankar Ehsaan Loy for this movie.

Synopsis: This is a story about two guys (Sameer [Abhishek Bachchan] – a male nurse and Kunal [John Abraham]- a photographer), a girl (Neha [Priyanka Chopra]- a fashion Journo) and an apartment. Sam and Kunal bump into each other while looking for an apartment to rent and coincidentally head towards the same apartment. However, they are both thrown out because the owner wants to rent the apartment to girls only since her niece stays in that apartment alone.

Sameer gets an idea that if Kunal and him pretend to be lovers, then the owner will agree to let them stay. Even though their plan works, the boys are in a predicament as they both fall in love with the owner’s niece, Neha Melwani, who thinks they are gay.
